Thanks to @marcusdysch for directing us to this clip.

I’m on the fence on this one, whilst it’s a crazy way to get red-carded, it was very dangerous and the ref didn’t have much choice, just because the streaker was nothing to do with the game the player still needs to conduct himself appropriately on the field of play. My big question is over the stewarding of this incident, they look disinterested in apprehending the streaker and then just walk onto the pitch, where’s the urgency?

We’re a bit late with Tweets of the Week but ultimately it’s worth the wait. Winner of Tweet of the Week is:

Keeping it simple this week… With Robin Van Persie out with injury once again, Dimitar Berbatov warming the bench and Elmandar patroling the right wing some managers will be looking to freshen up their striking options in the coming weeks, but who are the gems based on upcoming fixtures?

4 matches in 3 gameweeks, but which is the striker to pick from the toffees?

So if we were to hand out awards for the 2010/11 season who would win the various awards?

Best Film or Game of the season so far Barcelona 5-0 Real Madrid 29/11/2010

Best Actor – Bryan Carrasco for his new technique for getting an opponent sent off

Best Supporting Actor – The return of Eric Cantona to football with New York Cosmos took us by surprise and excited us in equal measure

Best Director – Gus Poyet has worked wonders with Brighton and taken them from mid-table mediocrity to dominating League One. Ian Holloway, Neil Warnock and Harry Redknapp would have been nominated for sure.

Best Animated Film – if the latest story from the life of Ashley Cole wasn’t bizarre enough there is now an animated news bulletin to accompany the story

Best Art Direction – Arsene Wenger again has spent the season determined to play beautiful football at the cost of grinding out a result

Best Costume Design – Everton Away kit. Enough said

Best Documentary - It’s a, dare I say, unabashed piece of self promotion here as we give the award for Best Documentary to Wolves – Sir Jack. Available to buy here. Trust us, it’s a cracking watch

Best Make Up – We’ve decided to award this prize to Denilson and Cesc Fabregas after Denilson called for a new captain.

Ahhh... smile for the shaky camera

Best Music – Dion Dublin’s Dube has been talk of the office at tikabooson over the past year, we have to give the award to him and his performance with Ocean Colour Scene!!

Best Original Screenplay – For a story you couldn’t have written, we’ve gone for Newcastle’s incredible comeback against Arsenal, one of the greatest Premier League games – Available to buy here

We enjoyed coming up with our winners, we’d love to hear your proposals for awards.

I’ll start with the not so unsurprising news that I passed the assessment on Saturday and now just need to sit through a Child Protection course to fully qualify as a Level 1 Coach.

We were given one of the numerous drills to study, detail on paper and execute on a windy and cold Saturday in Darwen (not Blackburn as I was told numerous times!). My drill to perform was called Robin Hood – a simple concept where the balls were all in the centre of a square with 4 teams of 3 players, one team in each corner. Each player had to run in, grab and ball and run back to base. I decided not to treat this as a race and instead tried to concentrate on getting the players to keep control of the football to varying degrees of success. The drill went as follows:

1a. Run in pick up the ball run back to base

1b. Return the ball to the centre with hands and run backwards (looking behind) to base

2a. Run in, collect ball and dribble back to base

2b. Run in without ball, turn in centre and receive pass from teammate

3a. Run in, collect ball, dribble round opponents cone (in clockwise direction) and back to home

3b. Run in without ball, teammate throws ball, player heads it back and teammate passes it back to middle

4a. Run in, collect ball, show a skill, return to base

4b. Pass ball into the middle of the pitch, closest to the middle wins
